Privacy Policy
Nico’s Lottery Lab is operated by Guilco Productions, Inc. This policy explains how the application handles information when you use it as a guest or with a signed-in account.
Guest and device-local use
Nico’s Lottery Lab can be used without an account. In guest mode, saved number ideas, played-ticket records, budgets, pools, favorite-game choices, age confirmation, Scratchers state choice, and limited device preferences remain in that browser on that device. Browser, hosting, security, and network systems may still process ordinary technical information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and error or security logs.
Signed-in synchronization
If you voluntarily sign in, the app stores your authenticated email address and display name with one synchronized account record. That record may contain saved number ideas; played-ticket numbers, game, drawing date, selling state, status, cost, payout, and claim-workflow entries; budget limits; private pools and group names, participant names, notes, shares, and attached ticket identifiers; favorite-game preferences; synchronization timestamps; and related app settings. Existing supported records on a device are combined with the account rather than silently replacing either copy. Signing out does not automatically erase the local copy from that device.
Email, push, and optional SMS
Signed-in users may voluntarily provide an alert email address and opt devices into browser push notifications. The account record may store consent time, alert choices, delivery history, result-check timestamps, retry information, and browser-supplied push endpoints and encryption keys. Email delivery uses Resend when configured. Push delivery uses standard Web Push and the browser or operating-system push service for each opted-in device. The server includes optional Twilio SMS support; a phone number and SMS choice are processed only if SMS controls are configured and the user enables them. These providers may process contact, device, delivery, and technical information under their own terms.
Camera, ticket photos, barcodes, and OCR
Camera access is requested only when the user starts a camera feature. Ticket-photo preparation, local OCR, and barcode recognition are attempted in the browser first. If local recognition is incomplete, the scanner may offer optional secure recognition. The user must explicitly authorize each cloud attempt before one prepared ticket image is temporarily uploaded to Nico’s Lottery Lab’s protected server. During that authorized attempt, the server may temporarily create enhanced or cropped views of the image, including additional targeted views when needed, and send them to Google Cloud Vision for text recognition. Nico’s Lottery Lab does not intentionally retain the original image, the prepared image, or the temporary views or include any of them in the synchronized account payload. Google may process the transmitted images under its applicable service terms and provider practices. Candidate game, state, drawing-date, play-line, special-ball, and multiplier information is returned for mandatory editable review and may be incomplete or inaccurate. A reviewed number or drawing date is synchronized only after the user corrects, confirms, and saves the ticket record. For abuse prevention and rate limiting, Nico’s Lottery Lab stores an OCR request identifier, a one-way SHA-256 hash derived from the prepared-image fingerprint, coarse day and hour fields, request status, and creation time. These usage records currently have no automatic expiration. They do not contain ticket-image bytes or recognized OCR text.
Account deletion and other choices
A signed-in user may delete the current Nico’s Lottery Lab account record and its synchronized app data from the account panel. Deletion also removes stored alert and push-subscription information, stops the deleted record from appearing in alert runs, clears synchronized app records from the current device, and signs the user out to guest mode. The deleted server record cannot be restored. However, local records remaining on another device where the user is still signed in may synchronize again and create a new account record. To prevent that, sign out or clear Nico’s Lottery Lab site data on every other device before deleting the account. Users may also disable individual alert channels, remove a current device’s push subscription, delete individual records, or clear site data in the browser. See Privacy Choices.
Official results and outside services
Official-result records and shared application configuration are not user account data. The app links to official lotteries and may link to other outside sites. Those sites, the sign-in service, hosting providers, email, push, and optional SMS providers control their own processing. Nico’s Lottery Lab cannot guarantee the availability or privacy practices of an outside service.
